A » To eliminate odor from a washing machine drum, run an empty hot water cycle with two cups of white vinegar. Once complete, sprinkle half a cup of baking soda inside the drum and run another hot cycle. Wipe the interior with a clean, damp cloth. Regularly clean the detergent drawer and door seals to prevent future odors, and leave the door open after use to allow air circulation.
